Trees are important in preventing desertification and reducing effects of climate change. SDFA-Kenya organizes tree planting campaigns in various parts of Kenya.

We use sporting events, religious meetings and other social events to educate the public on the importance of planting trees. We also use these social events to distribute seedlings to communities.

Since we started the project in February 2008, we have distributed over 15,000 seedlings in Coast Province, Western Province, Nyanza Province and Central Kenya.
